Women support

As part of the collaboration between the Floka charity and the Women's Care Center—and in partnership with SAMS and UNFPA—an awareness-raising lecture titled "Viral Hepatitis" was held. The session covered the nature of the disease, its modes of transmission, and the importance of prevention and early detection, aiming to spread health awareness and promote preventive behaviors.

As part of Floka Charity’s women empowerment initiatives, the Mosaic Art Project stands as a leading artistic endeavor, combining precision and creativity. Managed by skilled women artisans, the project produces unique artistic pieces while providing them with a dignified source of income. Additionally, the project regularly opens its doors to train talented individuals, offering opportunities to enhance their skills and join this remarkable field. With thoughtful expansion, the project remains a testament to the resilience and creativity of Syrian women in turning dreams into reality.

The Tannour Project is one of the sustainable livelihoods initiatives provided by Floka Charity in Khirbet al-Joz, northern Syria. The project aims to empower women by building traditional clay ovens in a strategic location to provide bread and manakish for the local community, strengthening the local economy. The charity ensures the success of the project by providing everything needed, from constructing the ovens to supplying firewood, contributing to sustainability and supporting community stability.

The Mosaic Project aims to preserve heritage and showcase local creativity by producing intricate artworks using unique mosaic techniques. Managed by a specialized team under the charity's Women's Office, the project contributes to empowering women economically and socially. It allows women to express their identity and culture through artistic pieces that reflect the beauty of heritage and the excellence of handicrafts, blending art with community empowerment.
