Eid is a time of joy, but the happiness of children has a special flavor. As in every year, Floka Charity stood beside the children in the camps—and this time, the joy was even greater. The Eid gifts didn’t wait, they reached every child right where they were, because Eid should come to them just like it does for any child in the world.

The smiles and laughter we saw in their eyes were indescribable—exactly what we had hoped to achieve: pure joy, without effort or waiting, just love, giving, and hope.
