A journey of healing from atrophy... that began with sponsorship and continues with hope.

Since 2015, Mariam and Ahmed, two young siblings, have lived in a camp in Khirbet al-Joz, after being displaced from their villages in rural Latakia by the war. Umm Ahmed endures double suffering, not only because she is a mother in the camp, but also because she cares for two children with cerebral atrophy who require special care and ongoing treatment. Thanks to regular monthly sponsorship for nearly five years from the Floka Association, the children's condition has significantly improved after years of pain and suffering. Today, the team continues to monitor their treatment and transport them periodically to receive the medical care they deserve. This is not just a story; it is a journey of hope that began with giving and continues thanks to everyone who reached out and eased their pain.
