After 14 long years of loss and waiting, the dream finally came true. Today, we met face to face with the mothers of martyrs and detainees, not just anywhere—but in our beloved homeland, Syria, in the city of Latakia.

On Mother’s Day, we carried a message of love and loyalty, and we said it from the heart:
"We're here for you. We haven’t forgotten you, nor your son."
We held hands worn by pain and gently whispered:
"You are the mother of this nation, and we are your children."

Today, we stood proudly and declared it loud and clear: We are with the mothers of martyrs.

You are the strength, the dignity, and the everlasting light.
